Welcome to Streetwise

Leonie Alsop
Head of Marketing and Communications
Welcome to Streetwise, our newsletter for clients, partners and industry participants. The new look Streetwise provides an overview of some of the many exciting projects our clients and partners are engaged with, plus special features and the latest Wallstreet events and news.

In 2009, our priority is to better support our clients as we all face these turbulent and challenging times. We want to ensure that our solutions and services meet our clients’ needs, so that they can focus on their own business. To this end I am pleased to update you on a number of client initiatives.

Firstly, we have deployed additional resources in Account Management to work closely with our clients on their tactical issues, long-term plans and specific requirements. More than ever, our solutions have become higher in profile and more strategically important as our clients work through this financial crisis. To improve responsiveness, we have reorganized Client Services to facilitate more frequent interactions with our clients, introducing a tiered system of primary and secondary line support. A new “Client Services Reference Guide,” which formally defines all contact points, is now available . In addition we are rolling out globally the Wallstreet Response System (WRS), our online client services tool. Many have already migrated to WRS and the response to date has been excellent.

The new Wallstreet Client Extranet has been launched, which has been designed to have better content, improve communications and be more user-friendly. Details of forthcoming training courses, user guides, release notes, product roadmaps and contact details are available, and the site will be rolled out to clients over the coming months.

We ran a successful program of client events during 2008, including two Wallstreet Treasury Client Forums, the Corporate User Group and the inaugural Aleri Global Banking User Group. We have listened to your feedback, and are pleased to confirm a number of additional user groups and client affinity groups in 2009.

I am also pleased to report the progress of our new Electronic Settlement Network (ESN) and Wallstreet Treasury Software as a Service solutions launched in Q4 2008. The signing of the first customer for the co-operative post trade processing system for the capital markets, ESN, signals a sea-change with the FX and cash markets, and confirms our decision to invest in this segment of the market. We are also proud that Wallstreet Treasury Software as a Service has been awarded ‘Best Treasury Management Software’ by Global Finance, who say “Analysts believe Wallstreet’s partner network is a key differentiator in the treasury management software space”’. We are seeing increasing interest in both solutions, and will have further news to report soon.

In 2008 the client experience improved dramatically and resulted in a record year for winning additional business from our clients. We strive to continually increase transparency and most importantly client satisfaction throughout 2009. As always, we appreciate your business and look forward to working closely with you in 2009.
