Joseph De Feo Joins Board of Wall Street Systems as Non-Executive Director

Wall Street Systems is extremely proud to announce that Joseph De Feo has joined the board as a non-executive director. As a seasoned executive and luminary in the financial services industry with more than 36 years experience in both international banking and banking operations, Joseph brings extensive experience and invaluable knowledge to Wall Street Systems.

Joseph’s most recent full time position was as Board Director, President and CEO of CLS Bank International, the first global settlement system, owned and supported by the world’s largest financial institutions. He achieved global recognition in this role due to the bank’s unprecedented success in a short period of time.

Previously, Joseph was a consultant with the Mitchell Madison Group and has held non-executive directorships on four boards, including one for a public sector organisation and two technology start-ups. Before this he was president and CEO of The Open Group, which influenced the open source movement. He originally started working in the financial services industry in information technology and operations roles. He held several senior positions at Barclays Group, including Director of Operations and Technology, Chairman of the Group Information Technology Executive Committee and the Group Operations Executive Committee and he was a member of the Group Risk Policy Committee.

“My career path has enabled me to gain extensive experience, contacts and skills in all aspects of financial services,” said Joseph. “I am confident I can play an important and insightful role at Wall Street Systems. I’m particularly excited about the company’s strategic direction to focus on its core competencies which strengthens its position as the clear market leader in the solutions they provide.

Joseph will be speaking at Wall Street Systems User Group Conference (UGM), Monaco, 5 – 7 September 2007.  We take great pleasure in welcoming Joseph to Wall Street Systems.
