Job Description
As part of our implementation team, the Business Consultant analyses customer requirements for a Treasury management system and implements the functionality that meets these requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare scoping and requirement definition programmes
- Provide accurate and considered analysis of issues and appropriate solutions to meet the client’s requirements.
- Provide creative and practical solutions to facilitate improved client processes and smooth project implementation
- Creation of Business Requirements and Functional Specifications including the planning, documentation and execution of supporting test cases as and when required
- Drive client/partner focus to ensure efficient and timely completion of project tasks
- Deliver quality training and consultancy in connection with new implementation
- Provide adhoc training and consultancy for existing Wallstreet Treasury clients
- Support pre-sales and sales internally and externally
- Provide backup for Wallstreet Treasury Helpdesk
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a corporate Treasury or a Treasury Management software vendor
- A proven track record in project work including implementing treasury systems with good knowledge of project management tools e.g. MS Project
- Thorough understanding of Treasury functions within a Corporate or Bank Treasury with working knowledge of IFRS / IAS 39
- Applicants must be willing and able to travel extensively both in the UK and overseas
- A good team player with ability to act on own initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with senior managers in client based environments
- Ability to identify, analyse and resolve problems / issues
- Able to multi-task, re-prioritise and adapt to rapidly changing needs and environments
Qualifications
- Essential: Educated to Degree level or equivalent
- Preferred: Post Graduate/Business Qualification e.g. MBA, ACT, Accountancy
