Job Description

This role will be responsible for the consolidation and development of a service delivery team for the FX/BO product enabling common implementation standards are applied across all projects and providing a remote based team focused on quality improvement of the FXBO functionality and services.

It is a global role with responsibility for a dedicated team. This role will be report directly to the EMEAA Regional Director for the FXBO product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and contribute appropriate project artefacts that enable common standards such as scoping documents, project plans, milestones, measures, budgets management, team and stakeholder communication, resource and time management and capacity planning
  • Will have specific responsibility for creating a dedicated Service Centre for the FXBO PS implementation methodology.
  • Establishing and Maintaining Project Governance
  • Ensure adherence to project management and internal reporting standards and best practices
  • Have confidence to engage and develop strong relationships with stakeholder groups
  • To build remote based teams to service:
    • The provision of Quality software builds for new clients and existing Client upgrades
    • Centre of Knowledge for remote resources providing support on configuration and interfacing requirements
    • Ensure a capacity model is implement which develops all individuals and plans resources requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • The candidate requires strong communication and organizational skills as they will liaise directly with clients, internal development and technology managers and business representatives.
  • The candidate will have a understanding of all aspects of the Project Life-cycle and a proven track record of delivering multi phase, multi faceted implementations at major Financial Institutions
  • They will have knowledge of the trade lifecycle for Financial Markets and will have faced off to senior stakeholders.
  • They will have experience in the creation and development of a Services team.
  • Financial Markets Investment Banking experience with specific product knowledge relating to FX, MM, Fixed Income or similar
  • Experience in a leadership/management role
  • Experience of implementing PMO 'best practices'
  • Financial & Project reporting tools experience
  • Pursuit of PMI certification and/or Prince II
  • Flexibility is required to accommodate international travel when required.
