Job Description

As part of a software implementation team, the consultant analyzes customer requirements for highly specialized financial software functionality, implements software functionality that meets these requirements, and writes functional specifications for customer specific development items.

A strong understanding of Cash Management gained from experience working within the Corporate sphere is a pre-requisite including practical experience of implementing and supporting Treasury Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing accurate and considered analysis of issues along with appropriate solutions to meet the client’s requirements.
  • Creation of Business Requirements and Functional Specifications as part of the customization process including planning, documentation and execution of supporting test cases.
  • Configuration of the Application to accurately represent the clients business and meet their functional requirements in relation to Cash Management and other functionality.
  • Plan, perform and document testing of new and existing Cash Management functionality to defined specifications/ requirements.
  • Provide creative and practical solutions to facilitate improved client processes and smooth project implementation
  • Deliver quality training to clients enhancing company Education Services brand
  • Support pre-sales, scoping and requirement definition programmes

Required Skills and Experience

Typically a Consultant specializing in Cash Management at Wall Street Systems will have the following experience:

  • Proven experience gained within the financial industry, incorporating Global Cash Management experience preferably with a large international corporation, bank or a Cash Management software vendor in the areas of Customer Service, Sales, Implementations or Product Management.
  • Long and short-term forecasting and large scale Payment Processing experience. Experience in operation or implementation of Payment Factory configuration and implementation is a plus.
  • Understanding of principles involved with In-house Banking. Including credit line, tax, and interest fee management as well as bank statement processing and accounting. Experience with implementing or operating In House Banks within global corporate environment is beneficial.
  • Understanding of Financial Accounting processes.
  • Experience of Corporate Treasury gained at a global corporate at a managerial level or with responsibility of a function within treasury
  • Excellent analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Good Customer relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational planning skills
  • Deep knowledge of financial industry, instruments and market processes
  • Cross system knowledge of front office, risk, accounting and back office workflows
  • Knowledge of Implementation/Upgrade Processes
  • Enthusiasm for taking responsibility and a passion for knowledge
  • A self-motivated and hard working individual who is goal orientated, able to work with minimal supervision but also effectively as part of a team
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written. Other languages an asset.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively
