Job Description

Wall Street Systems Business Analysts are an integral part of the Client Services team. Their main role is to provide business application support, receiving and analysing business issues from clients for the Wall Street Systems FX/Back Office product; finding and applying solutions to client issues; preparing customer and internal reports from our management and control systems; working shifts over mornings, days and evenings during the working week.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Client Services team, the Business Analyst will be responsible for:
  • Providing business application support to the global Wall Street Systems FX/Back Office client base
  • Receiving and analysing business issues from clients for the Wall Street Systems FX/Back Office product.
  • Finding and applying solutions to the client issues encountered within the Wall Street Systems FX/Back Office product
  • Liaising with secondary and tertiary support teams to expedite issue resolution.
  • To maintain precise and timely records of all issues.
  • Recognising and escalating critical issues according to policy.
  • Preparing customer and internal reports from our management and control systems
  • Working shifts over mornings, days and evenings during the working week
  • Providing in-office cover during Bank Holiday periods

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Must be at least graduate level in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Accounting.
  • A proven experience in the financial sector, preferably banking, front, middle or back office.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of financial products across Money Markets, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives and Fixed Income.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and general mathematical spreadsheet work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English.
  • Confident and able to operate independently within defined guidelines.
  • High levels of initiative and drive.
  • Ability to deliver first class customer service.
  • Although not mandatory candidates may have some understanding of database query languages.
