Job Description

A documentation specialist is required for the Wallstreet FX, Wallstreet BackOffice, and Wallstreet ESN product lines. This individual will report into Development. Key responsibilities are listed below.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain Online Help for Wallstreet FX and ESN product line.
  • Create new documentation to facilitate easier usage of the ORD at our client base.
  • Explore new medium for delivery of documentation.
  • Liaise with Wallstreet’s internal Training department to explore methods for creating synergies and efficiences for delivery and production of user documentation and training materials.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date status on all work assigned, and be able to demonstrate same
  • Achieve a high rate of issue resolution to the satisfaction of the Client and Wall Street Systems.
  • Show evidence of intelligent prioritisation of workflow as agreed with client.
  • Communicate effectively with the client at all levels in a structured fashion.
  • Add significant value to the analysis of issues being reported
  • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision
  • Attain the confidence of the client that the above objective(s) have been achieved

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Prior experience with documentation of financial technology systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience with help authoring tools is highly desirable.
  • Excellent writing skills are essential.
  • Comfortable with learning and understanding computer software.
  • Willingness to work with a team of individuals.
  • Minimal travel required – but there may be 1-2 international trips per year (London, Sophia Antipolis).
