Job Description

The Account Director (AD) is responsible for guiding and developing excellent client relationships that are built upon solid commercial foundations. The AD ensures that our clients derive best value from our products and services and the AD owns Wallstreet's client satisfaction mandate. The AD also ensures that clients are fully informed of company, market and product initiatives and serves as client advocate in driving our organization to deliver against client priorities.

The Account Director must be credible at senior levels within our client organizations. The job requires extensive knowledge of the Capital Markets and Corporate Treasury spaces, as well as proven sales or account management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve strategic relationships with assigned clients
  • Drive the identification and qualification of sales opportunities at assigned clients and manage sales of software and services through understanding client needs and identifying appropriate solutions.
  • Supply assigned clients with timely responses regarding product information, pricing and company information and ensure that clients are apprised of Wallstreet company initiatives
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline for forecasting and management reporting
  • Develop and execute account plans that deliver increased client satisfaction and strengthen our commercial relationships
  • Provide escalation to clients when necessary and take ownership of client concerns through to resolution
  • Represent client interests internally to Wallstreet delivery units
  • Ensure that all delivery units in the company are refined specifically towards the needs of your clients

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven relationship management and sales experience within the Corporate Treasury or Capital Markets spaces. Experience in Corporate Treasury, Treasury Software or sell-side Coverage groups preferred
  • Demonstrated success in managing and expanding large account relationships
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales quotas on a regular basis
  • Ten+ years industry experience
  • Experience with large scale negotiations and procurement processes
  • Ability to communicate and present at all levels within an organization required
  • Confident professional persona and engaging personality
  • Travel required
