Technical Accountant for Treasury Software Design

Job Description

Due to continued expansion we are currently recruiting an accounting and hedge accounting expert with a proven tracked record in implementation of major accounting standards, ideally working in a large corporate, a bank or for a treasury management software vendor to join the development team to work on enhancing Wallstreet SuiteTM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requirements in the area of financial instruments accounting and hedge accounting
  • Monitor latest developments in major accounting standards (FAS and IAS)
  • Design new functionality and write functional specifications for software
  • Cooperate with developers during the software development process, test and document designed functionality.

Required Skills and Experience

  • University degree in economics or mathematics
  • Very good knowledge of major accounting standards (FAS and IAS)
  • Knowledge of financial markets including basics of valuation of financial instruments
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
  • Excellent analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • A self-motivated and hard working individual ready to work in an international team
