Shiva Ramabadran serves as managing director and global head of research & development at Wall Street Systems. His main areas of responsibility include driving the development and integration of Wallstreet’s trading, settlement and treasury technology solutions.

Shiva has over a decade of experience in managing software teams and designing and enhancing large scale, high volume, trading and risk management solutions. Shiva started his career in finance as a software engineer at Tudor Investments where he was responsible for designing, developing and maintaining trading and risk management systems for equity, FX, and commodity traders. He went on to BlackRock Financial where he designed fixed income trading and risk management solutions. Shiva has also served as chief technical officer of the public fixed income asset management unit of Prudential Financial, and the chief technology officer of Trema before its acquisition by Wall Street Systems. Shiva has a Bachelors degree from the University of Bombay, where he graduated with honors in Computer Systems Engineering, and a post graduate degree also in Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in upstate New York.
